Arabic Biryani Ingredients 1 kg Chicken cut into 4 pcs 1 Large Onion Chopped 1 Large Tomato Chopped 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste 1 potato cut into 4 pcs 1/2 Small Capsicum 1/2 cup Chopped Parsley 1/2 cup Chopped Coriander leaves 1 tbsp Curry Pawder 1 tbsp Paprika 1 tbsp Coriander Pawder Black Paper Crushed 1/2 tsp 1 tbsp Arabic Spices 1 Cube Maggi Yoghurt 1/2 cup Salt as required Oil as required A few Saffron Strands (Zafran) soaked in 5 tbsp of water Ingredients for Rice 3 cup Basmati Rice 4 Whole Cardamom Pods 6 Whole Cloves 6 Black Peppercorns 1 Bay Leave 1 Cinnamon Stick  1 tbsp oil Salt as required Method  Boil Chicken with water salt curry pawder and black paper Crushed. Fried rice  Ingredients Eggs 1 Cold cooked rice 2 cups  Frozen Carrot-Peas and corn1 cup  Capsicum Chopped 1 Sausages 3 Dry red chilli 2  Soya sauce 1 tsp  Worchestire sauce 1 tsp  Pepper powder 1/2 tsp  Canola oil 2 tsp  Salt as per taste  Method: Heat 1 tsp canola oil. Add the beaten eggs and pinch of salt. Cut Sausages in small cubes.Scramble the eggs.Heat 1 tsp canola oil add sausages then add dry red chillies.add the capsicum, peas-carrot mixture.When the peas,corn and the carrots are cooked, add the scrambled eggs and the cold cooked rice. If the rice is in the form of mounds, break it. Once the rice is a little warm, add the soya sauce and the worchestire sauce. Mix it well. Add the pepper powder. Garnish with some chopped Spring Onions (optional).

Jeera rice

Jeera rice is a simple preparation of rice that has been flavoured with jeera or cumin seeds. This versatile rice preparation can be eaten as an accompaniment with almost any dal or vegetable. Jeera rice with plain curds and pickle or just topped with some ghee is my personal favourite. Using shah-jeera in this recipe adds a lovely flavour and fragrance to the rice. Coriander imparts taste and a delightful green colour turning plain simple rice into a preparation to be relished.  Jeera rice  Ingredients :  1 cup Basmati rice  2 tsp Cumin seeds (jeera)  1 tsp Cumin powder  2 cups Water  1 Onion- sliced  Salt to taste  1 tbsp Oil or ghee (clarified butter)  Method: Wash rice and soak for 20 minutes.Heat oil or ghee in a pressure cooker and add jeera. When they change color, add onion. Fry till light brown. Add cumin powder. Add rice with 2 cups of water and salt. Pressure cook to 1 whistle. Take out on a serving platter and fluff jeera rice with the help of 2 f
